tricks on sliding on a tranny?

Default tricks on sliding on a tranny?

this is my third time taking a tranny off and putting it on again this time im changing my tranny froma dc2 ls to a db7 ls because the other one died.
(idk if that matters at all..)
the tranny isnt sliding in like it did the first two times also the first two times i just droped the tranny this time i just have the block and tranny on the ground and its just not working?! any one have any tips or tricks on how to get the spindal to slide in ??

try twisting the tranny a little, and then turning it to line up the dowel pins after the spindle is on.

Have a friend turn the crank little by little while you rock (twist) the tranny on to get the splines lined up...
