Default Comp upgrade for 07 SI

Is there anything i can do to the comp to gain more power. I ordered a Injen cold air intake and an evo 2 exhaust. I don't want ay forced inductio system yet, which is why I would like to upgrade the comp.

Thanks

you wont increase compression with bolts ons.

pistons, head milling, thinner headgasket....that's pretty much it unless i left something out.

EDIT: comp as in computer?

thinner headgasket is not really a true way to raise your compression, only way is to get pistons made for it.

you can't ignore the fact that thinner head gaskets can affect compression.

reflash fo sho...

But I think I'm just gonna wait until they come out with kpro for the z3's. For me, there's almost no sense in just getting the reflash because the more you do the more you will have to keep getting it reflashed, so even tho its twice as much, kpro would just be more worth it for me (even tho I believe you can send in your reflashed ecu and have them kpro it for $500)

not to mention the resale value on kpro

There are some great chips on ebay that will increase horsepower. be sure to get a voltage stablizer, grounding kit and twin scroll muffler bearings while youre at it

Considering K-Pro doesn't exist for the new Si, I would trust the reflash.

you sure, man? I mean, ok I could buy that if you were just getting basic bolt-ons and stuff, but once you do any more, you'll need to reflash again...

Although I suppose there really isn't all that much available for our cars yet that would really require a re-reflashed ecu other than a SC

And I've also heard of people just converting to a cable throttle system and then kpro-ing their si's... The guy at a local shop (factory5motoring) said he went to a car show and saw that on a couple different FG2's

The K-pro for our cars will be like for the RSX... If you wanna go ahead and reflash now, you can send your ecu back later for the k-pro upgrade at a discounted rate. Great way to spend a little at a time, and get a head start on when the K-pro or whatever they end up calling it out.

Hmmm my Si only came with one header. Sounds like a sweet mod.

This will never change. I don't understand why people don't understand an I4 has a HEADER not HEADERS. There are not 2 heads!
