Honda Civic 95 sedan dx problem need help A.S.A.P..please

Here i have my civic 95 sedan and once i step on the gas pedal in all the way it ticks alot until it hits like the 3 or 4 thousand rpm range what could be the problem?

sounds like spark knock
Do you run 87( the cheap ****) if so running some 94 should help you out.

sounds like a spun bearing.. when was the last time u put oil in ur car??

put fresh 94 or highest octane gas available, i used to have same problem and its because of low octane fuel (cheap ****)
