Default need help with tire's size

hi guys, I'm new here, and I want to change my rims and tires.The rims i want to put in will be 18" and for the tires i want something wider than i have now 205/60/15
But how wide can i go?I was thinking about 255/35/18, but not sure if it will fit....
My honda is 2005 accord LX, 4 door. Also what with of the rim will i need?

you need to do some more research. However, your best bet is to ask a wheel/tire shop. Also, keep in mind, you cant just pick any size tire for a rim, you need to match the tires and rims together. and anything that is 255 will not fit on any accord without serious modification, or mad offset.
