2006 Air Filter
The owner's manual does not mention anything about changing the air filter. I looked in the index too, with no luck.
Am I not seeing it in the owner's manual?
I just want to ask before I start so I don't unscrew more than I need to.
TIA

The owner's manual probably just lists a replacement interval in miles / months. Maybe doesn't have actual instructions for doing it.
V-6? 4-cyl? They're probably not the same as each other...

Correct.
It's a 4.
I changed the air filter on my 05 Ford, like the Honda, there seems to be the air flow sensor connecting to it. It's not hard, just that I removed more screws than I should on my Ford, and made it a longer process. No big deal, just more chances to drop a screw, etc. And then can't find it. That's why I'm looking for step by step instructions in the owner's manual.

Here's the air filter housing. That air flow sensor is #15, otherwise it's the same as my '03. Be careful you don't mess up the business end of that sensor.

The rubber air intake tube is short & stiff, so I find it easier to loosen both ends. Then there's the steel tubing for the crankcase vent...
The screws that close the airfilter housing (#18) are captive, so they don't easily fall out. But for some strange reason, Honda made that thing so it's a PITA to wrestle the lid (#5) out alongside the fender.
