Anyone order from exospeed?
hey just curious about this guy/company.. i order stuff on the 18 or april.. and things were good at the time.. but i guess there was a mix up with my order and he had to reorder.. well that was about 2 weeks ago now.. i havent heard a word from him and all i get is a voicemail when i try to call... i dont want to start flaming this guy.. he seemed cool and hes been around for awhile i guess... but.. i mean.. whats up? heh.. going on a month now for an order which he said he could have ready in a day or two.. i dunno.. maybe this will help me out in getting a respone from exospeed atleast..
Your talking about the company Exospeed right? Ive picked up a set of Lenso's from them. What were you ordering? I PM'd there rep this link so he should be coming in to say something when he gets on.
i ordered pistons and rods.. last time i talked to him was on the 27 of april.. ive sent him many pms.. called and left messages..
no response since.. i figured i would ask on here.. im not trying to flame him.. id just like my stuff..

Thanks but i dont know them very well. I only did buisness with them once and seen them at shows before and talked about there yellow SFWD car. Other then that i dont know them.
But yea its only been a day since i sent him the link. They could be very busy since race season is in full bloom on the east coast. Have you been calling this number (got it from the website): 818-551-5570 I say you give them til the end of the week before you file your claim.

Im in the same boat. Their not answering the phone and he haven't returned my email since the 20th of April. He promised me my stuff would have been shipped out on the 13 of April and promised me he would have sent me an email. Well nothing in the mail and no email response. I've tried calling and all I get is an answering machine. My order has been placed from since the 22nd of Febuary. All these promises and nothing! I hate when I spend so much money and get treated like ****!
I got a PnP there and yeah it took over a month when i was told it was goin to take 2 weeks. Ijust had to keep callin and tellin Wil i could stop by and finally he said "ok come get it" I was stoked. Just give him some time and bug the hell out of him, remember businesses are busy so whoever hassles them the most will get there stuff done first.
And it shouldn't be like that. What about the people who payed with paypal? I guess we are stuck with nothing cause after 30days, paypal does not want to help. I could have payed 3-4 car notes with the money I gave exospeed.

if you payed with paypal through your bank account you are always left out in the cold. NEVER use your bank account to pay anything with paypal. use your credit card to pay through paypal. if your out of the country, then any legitimate seller will except a bank transfer... which you can always get back if seller doesnt provide in time.
paypal is not insured and is only a money transfer business.
and yea after 30 days paypal is no help... there no help within the 30 days either>>hence since they are no fdic insured and only a transfer company.
i would have notified paypal after 2 weeks of not getting my stuff. good luck, now your at the mercy of Wil and exospeed
LOL they cant even send out T shirts on time let alone parts. i feel sorry for you guys

heres an update...
i just got an email regarding my order!!@#
Hi Corey,
This is Mark. Sales here at Exospeed. Wil was taking care of your order but he had to leave for a family emergency this week. He was able to call me today regarding your order. I was not aware of the pending shipment for your parts. To expedite the shipment, I sent it through US postal priority mail today. It should take about 2-3 days. It can possibly be there Monday or Tuesday.
I apologize for any inconvenience. Wil's absence has thrown us off here for a few days and we're doing our best to catch up right now.
Mark
so.. hopefully im good..only time will tell...

First of all, I apologize for being away for several days from the board. I had to go out of town for several days on personal matters.
Things do get hectic when I step away and I apologize for any delay on some orders. Most things go out EASY even when I'm not there since they are straight up easy to fill orders. If there are some things that we normally dont have in stock and we have to contact suppliers and keep calling to get our parts. Our temp staff are not as familiar with that procedure and there are delays when I'm gone.
Crucian, as I said in my PM, your address is an APO and my guys had a problem sending it to you. I dont think I had the right address written down for them to ship properly. PM me on the confirmed address please. There was an inital backorder on the wheels as we told you when you ordered, but we have them now after several weeks and its ready to ship.
cXShoe: First of all, you have to get your facts straight please. Your investigation procedures are really wrong and after this, how can your research be trusted. For what you did a couple years back regarding an order for a customer, all the FACTS that you said were totally wrong.
For once, you said that it took 8-9 months for the guy to get his parts. Thats incorrect. He ordered a custom wheel, no refunds and its custom and does take time. It takes 5-6 weeks to get done and at that time Bogart Wheels relocated to a diff state and when they got to their new location, the warehouse was broken into. There was another 2 week delay on the order and thats when the customer wanted hsi refund. I said we can since its custom order, we have no use for that wheel. After all the people hounding me, I said ok, we'll refund it. That was a total of about maye at most 8 weeks, and not 8-9 months. At that time, I had to leave for Canada due to my grandmother being ill and had pneumonia and we werent sure if she was going to get through it. So I was trying to do transactions through paypal and I couldnt send a full refund right away. But we did on a daily basis little by little.
Also, you said that you went to our warehouse back then and took pictures. What you did was research the billing address of our website and it was through our friend that started the website for us. Clearly not the actual shop address. I still gave our REAL shop address at that time and invited you to come down, but you were stubborn and still insisted that its an apartment.
This is where we are:

its a 4300 sq ft warehouse where we operate out of, build our engines, store our parts. Its never been an apt, and we've been here for over 4 years and have been in business full time since 2001. and part time since 1997. We've been in this thing for along time and not planning to go anywhere.
So as for your so called investigation and research about us, its totally wrong and you havent admitted it. We have had a shop for years, and why didnt you acknowledge that, its because you want to spread false information.
I admit that there are some delays in this business and we try to prevent them. If there are any mix ups or delays, we do try to fix them as soon as we can. I am the main person running ths show and we have part time guys who step in when I'm gone. They are not me, they dont know the same knowledge I have being in this industry for over 14 years. They dont know the suppliers by first names. You have to understand that not everything will be run smooth. Things happen and being human, we try to work things out to the best that we can. We've never been scammers. We've never tried to be shady. We're a regular business trying to make a living like anyone else.

i have no problem stating im wrong or appologizing to anyone. and i have no problem taking anything back either.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1251444
here is the link of that buyer. funny how one of your employees thought it was funny to make a bogus user account to then lie about what i was doing there. but what ever as long as it pissed you off enough to get that refund sent out to the buyer i say it was worth it because in the end the buyer got his refund. which he should have gotten long time ago.
you and everyone else can read it and decide what they want to on the situation. and everyone can type in "exospeed" in the archive and see how many have made threads about you>>> Wil not getting back to them in a timely fashion after weeks of notices. but maybe their just making those up aswell. i dont know.
and dont pm me, anything you have to say to me you can publically say here.
an honestly instead of sitting here typing something out to me, i would instead call your buyers. i think thats a more productive approach to this.

I wasnt aware of any of the fake names, since anyone that speak for us is only me and no one else. If someone spoke for us, it can either be just some other unauthorized person that could have made up a name. Only reply that is valid, is from my own PMs.
as far as cxShoe, since you dont want me to PM you, then I have no problems of commenting in public. I have nothing to hide, even our company address. You insisted that in this post above and previous posts and now you edited it since you were wrong on that.

I have no problems with people saying any comments on HT either, as long as its true. If you hate us, fine. If you had a bad experience with us, thats your opinion to say somethign about us.
We've corrected our mistakes in the past. I admit that we're not perfect, who is? Does that make us bad people? I dont believe so. We've done thousands of transactions for so many years. We're here to stay. The instances that have happend here on HT are very few and we strive not to have those things happen.
We're no WiredspeedLab or any of those companies that come and go. We're here to stay and as for our customers, they can choose to go with us or not, its their choice.
Its a public forum and you can bash us all you want even though all your information is second hand, CxShoe. Its not even you that have called us in person and visited us. We're so near you, I invite you to come down and talk to us in person and tell us straight up that we are bad people.
Back to the topic, like I said, I was gone for a few days and had temporary staff at the shop. Most of the main stuff is handled by me personally and with my absence, things slow down and isnt run like usual. We dont have 10 people working here, its just me, mainly and our engine builder who works part time at different hours. Daily operations are just me and I oversee all shipping, invoicing, to double check what parts go in which packages to ship out. I personally check all wheels and tires that go out for leaks and check valvestem so that the valve is not leaking on all the wheels. There's alot on my plate but I do them because I cant trust anyone else to do it for me.
Any of you HT guys can assume we are not a good business due to some issues on HT that is very rare. But for those other hundreds of customers and shops that deal with us, I try my best to provide for everyone and their needs. We have ALOT of satisfied customers and we appreciate their business.
And I do agree to keep this post open. I've never tried to hide anything, or hide any instances like this. Like I said, we get alot of business that are smooth transactions, the few things in the past on HTare rare occurances.
I still invite CxShoe to meet us in person here at the shop. At least to complete his Research about us. I just want things to be accurate and him not say anything out of assumption about us, like what he's said in the past.

fake names were done by Mark and have since been removed along with alot more pages in that link. george even stated in the thread those were fake accounts and to stop it. they were made with the same ip address as Mark's your (employee i assume), mark stated i was threatening the lady and such only to cause more arguments. but what ever his post along with other pages were all deleted.
edit my posts? i dont have an ego to warrant any editing of any or my comments. like i said before i have no problem saying im wrong or sorry. and when my comments are wrong i delete them to not confuse anyone and to cause more petty yelling. maybe you miss that?
if your going to quote me do the whole sentence, the way you did makes it seem like i am editing my answers.
this is what i said.

so instead of talking to me, call you buyers and give them their update. you have no business typing stuff out here since your soooo busy.
and why would i come to your shop? i only wanted to get that guys refund done, and my actions caused so much stress on you that you finally.....finally gave him his refund. and that was the whole entire goal i was setting. the goal was never to find your shop, it was never to prove whether your a legit company or what ever. the goal was to get someone else who was tied into your company to then put pressure on you to settle the problem and get a refund to the guy.

STOP POSTING ON HERE AND UPDATE YOUR CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN TALKING TO ME?

edit my posts? i dont have an ego to warrant any editing of any or my comments. like i said before i have no problem saying im wrong or sorry. and when my comments are wrong i delete them to not confuse anyone and to cause more petty yelling. maybe you miss that?
if your going to quote me do the whole sentence, the way you did makes it seem like i am editing my answers.
this is what i said.

yes doing some searching on who this person was that had the problems with the wheels and yes i stand corrected i was not 8 months or anything like that. so i was wrong to state that. i have deleted my posts about that remark.
i have no problem stating im wrong or appologizing to anyone. and i have no problem taking anything back either. </TD></TR></TABLE>
so instead of talking to me, call you buyers and give them their update. you have no business typing stuff out here since your soooo busy.

Since back then until today, you still ASSUMED that we were operating in an apartment in Eagle Rock. Thats totally false you know that. And you still continued to say that earlier in this post. Where is the credibility in that? You say you investigated us, but you Failed to leave out that you never actually really looked into where we actually are. Thats my whole point in asking you to come here.
You're so quick to look around some apartment building when 100s of people have been to our shop in Glendale and youre the only one to actually say we are in apartment building. Thats what I wanted to point out. Youre quick to say something to put us down, but you fail to leave out the ACTUAL FACTS to make your investigation worth while.
Im trying not to respond to this of course since it takes so much time out of the day. But its hard not to when someone says false information about you for along time now.
I thought you knew in 2005 that we have had our shop in Glendale for over 4 years. So I left it alone and thought nothing of it. Now you bring it up 2 years later, and of course I'm going to think, hey I thought this guy already cleared that up and he knows where our shop actually is back in 2005, when we told him. So thats why I'm responding CxShoe.
And since my return from my personal emergency, I have contacted these people on the updates. Of course, you dont know that, right?
And of course, we always learn from our mistakes and do the best we can to better ourselves and our business. That is the right thing to do. but as human beings, there are those rare instances and that you Cant be perfect everytime.
So to prevent you from coming back and saying we still operate out of an apartment, please come to the shop personally and acknowledge that you know we have a big warehouse and we've been here for along time.

You wanted to put the pressure on us to pay the guy with the wheels back. We never intended to skimp out on the guy. We were just trying to figure out the best way possible to take care of the issue. Like I said, during the time, I was in Canada. Was the best way to send a guy in Europe a check for a refund? Of course not. I asked if I can take care of it when I return home so I can do a wire transfer directly. but you guys never gave me the chance. always saying I was a fraud and was trying not to take care of the guy. I was being reasonable, when you were not. I was wanting to take care of the situation even without your presence. I was in another country and of course I couldnt do anything about it right away. Within a week or so, the full refund was completed. So was I not wanting to take care of it.
Like I said above, I invite you to come here. I'm not mad or anything like that. I just want you to understand that your actions are blown out of proportion sometimes. For example, the apartment building move.
Ok Im done, if you have nothing else to say, I'm done posting. Customers called, issues resolved already.
