Default free up transmission

Recently the transmission on my car went. I have a 91 integra with a 99 gsr swap. I guess the transmission just locked up causing my wheels to lock up. The car would only roll about a foot forward and back and then it would stop. I had it towed to a mechanic and he told me it was the transmission and it has a hole in it. Well I don't feel like paying the 7o dollars to have it towed back to my house so I want to do it myself. The thing is that I need to free up the wheels so that I can get it on a tow-dolly or trailer. Does anyone know how I can do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Is that the only way. I was hoping there was some other way but if thats it then I will probably have to do that.

would putting a cement block on the clutch work? It should still disengage with the clutch depressed shouldnt it?

i think thats what happens when you run it without fluid. i think thats what happened to mine from the previous owner. now my tranny shifts hard and it makes alot of bad noises in first and second. mine was jb welded shut and the shop told me it'd just be better to get a new tranny.

Pay $40 and get AAA? At least you get a couple of 15 miles tows with the basic plan. If anything put the front wheels on those wheel dolley, the kind they use at the shop to roll the car around. Don't know how safe it is to try to roll it on a trailer with those though.

I didn't think it was out of fluid. It should have been fine since it wasn't leaking but right after it happened it started leaking a lot. Maybe the wheel dolly thing would work. I could just get a few people to help me push it up on to the trailer. Thanks for the help everyone. I will see what I can do otherwise I will have to have it towed back.
