Default WEIRD THUMPING NOISE

Lately when i've been driving around, and when im in 1st 2nd, or 3rd accelerating the car accelerates fine, but if i stay in 1, 2, 3rd and start tapping on the gas like a 1-2 step, the car makes a loud thumping noise everytime you accelerate too fast(when you tap on the gas), but if you calmly press the gas then its fine. this happens in 1-3 gears. Its as if somethings is hitting the bottom of the car. i dk. any ideas on what it could be?
Perhaps the half shaft, not sure?

thanks for the help

sounds like you have a broken motor mount. have you noticed any vibration when you are idling at a certain speed?

LAst night i was cruising in 4th and there was a little vibration, but nothing big, then when i shifted into 5th you didnt feel it anymore, but i was doing like 60mph nothing big. I popped the hood and tried to shake the motor, but it wasnt really moving much. What if it wasn't the motor mount? what other possibilities can it be? I'm going to get a better look at it tonight, and ill check one more time, i'll let you know. thanks

do you feel a vibration or hear that noise when you brake at all .. because if its the motor mount you would hear and feel the same stuff when youre on the brakes

check your axles and make sure that they are popped in all the way. and might as well check your wheel bearing hub assembly. make sure that your axles dont have the joints messed up either. that happened to me also.

It turned out it was my rear motor mount. There was no bolt, and everytime i accelerated and the engine tilted back, it would make the thumping noise. I just put a bolt in there and it no longer makes the loud thump noise when i accelerate. Good things, now i just gotta get it repainted quickly, and ill be on my way.
