Just wanted to know if they were the same. Getting US part in Canada is a bitch, stupid USA/canadian models that are not the same...

There are two crx's at the junkyard here. If you want I can swing by and grab them.

just so you know 90% if not all of the 89 CRX's have the seatbelts in the door also. Only the 88's have the seatbelts on the frame. I have never seen an 89 with the seatbelt anywhere else than the door.

JunkeeCRX, I went to dealer and they were freaking out when I said: "I have CRX 89 Si US version and I'd like to order..." He didn't even letting me finish at first, and told me: "whatever you gonna order it's gonna take 2 months and we prefer not do it cause if there is a mistake in the shipping and yadady yadada".

Just order one for any crx 90-91
I have to replace mine every 3 years- someone should make some metal ones- this plastic **** always comes apart.

The civic and crx pieces are different. I wouldn't bother looking for used- the plastic clips that hold it to the door are difficult (impossible) to remove without breaking.

I may have one on a 90 door that's just sitting at my shop. I'll check tomorrow and e-mail you if I have it. Just pay for shipping.

Just went through this myself. You gotta get a new one or one off the came car. The crx ones are too short.

Well, they are indeed too long, but I cut it and after some modifications, it fits perfectly. Thanks for anyone that offered to send me one, but I think I'll stick with that home made one for now.
