Default Koni Yellow Problem on 95 Accord

Ok my friend has a 95 Accord 4dr EXR and we went to put some Koni Yellows on the car last night. Thing is, all the stock parts that are supposed to be used on the Koni's wont fit. The piston rod metal thing is thicker than the stock one.... is that supposed to be right? i was thought that this was supposed to be a pretty simply install with no modifying needed...

I believe that's in the instructions that you need to do that.

You need to drill out the bump stop at least, I can't remember what all else had to be done.

The Koni's should've come with some of those washers and what not, and you WILL have to drill out the bumpstop some.
