Whats goin on with the surge of n00bs. Are these guys real? It seems the intelligence level of alot of n00bies to this specific forum has gone significantly down hill. I know its been in the dumps lately but WTH.

 

Honestly, I was wondering the same damn thing... I could literally have copy and pasted my reply from question to question.

Well as much as we all talk **** about n00b questions, sometimes it just does good to answer the questions of those that REALLY seem like they want to learn, and are just having a hard time understanding... But damn some are just silly.

You guys should not be so damn harsh. We are all human and I know some of the **** they ask is trivial but these people are starting off like how many of us once did. No question is ever dumb that is how many people learn (for the most part). i see a noob post, i try to reply in a civil manner and then refer them to good ol search button. thats just my two cents.

Coming from a fairly new member, I would say that this forum is very civil. We are just commenting the sudden influx of new members asking the same Qs. I havent seen many flames...most of you guys actually give them answers and provide the archived threads.

 

Im a noob to this site and yes i asked a question that can be found in the SEARCH
BUT when i search all the other topics have the you guys saying use the search...the answers are 5+ pages away and you have to look through them all...if u want them to use the search make it useful...delete threads that have no answers...then i wont ask questions that are pointless to you guys. I have looked through the search for hours...it was a lot faster for me to post and have one nice guy answer me...you can delete my thread if it bothers or adds to the noobness i have my answers

This thread doesn't really pertain to you, as much as to those that asked the questions listed above. You asked a valid question in my book, and I did my best to help you.

 

No you did as i said aka the nice guy...i am just saying for others that post....i dont feel my question was completely stupid but it was generic..i am just saying about the guys that actually do use the search, like myslef, and still cannot find the answer...the guys that post random out of no where questions...i am not defending

i still ask noob questions cause sometime you just want to make sure and the search topics are either pointless or too many pages!!

Some of the "UNNOOB" lol people here on H-T also give stupid answers or answers that doesnt even help the OP or retain to the topic just like this thread:

But dude, you've got to understand... Why would someone post in the Integra Type-R section, wanting to buy a GSR engine? It makes NO sense. That'd be like walking into the Honda dealership and begging for a headgasket for your KA24DE in your '95 240SX, even though you said PLEASE and are desperate, doesn't mean you're in the right place. They're more than likely going to call the police to escort the escaped patient back to Shady Oaks Mental Institution

Haha, I wasn't trying to win, just stating my view... I agree with both sides somewhat, as I've partaken in both helping the "n00bs" out, and posting my fair share of kitty pictures, so you know, haha.
