K we have a 98 CRV EX real time AWD. My question is has any one ever taken the silver bar under the front bumper off and experienced a clicking noise. It did it before we took it off (because it was bent badly and just bolted to the 2 tow spots) but it has gotten worse over the last few weeks. we are selling it soon. the person befor us said that owned the car said that it wasint in an accident. Any suggestions? Thanks guys -DAN

 

That little silver bar doesn't do much. a clicking noise could be something loose under the front bumper, like the splash shield, fenderliner, or the bottom edge of the front bumper. Check your tires for big rocks stuck in the tread, too.

 

does the noise happen pretty much all the time when hitting bumps? Like a chattering sound?
If so you need to replace your sway bar end links. it's a pretty common problem
