i am about to pick up a b16 tranny but it is already off the car and i want to know what markings should i look for.
what shoud i check for to see the condition is by moving the bearing.
anything at all that would help me
he said it says y80

There is not much you can do when it is not in the car unless you take it apart. Spin the input shaft and move the shift shaft back and forth, that's the only thing you can do.
