I have a jdm d15b iy 90 civic well currently money is tight and I want to hit vtec i there any way of wiring it up to get by for 2 weeks. I akm buying a vafc2

 

get a vtec ecu,,vafc isnt actually vtec

 

I know but u can use it ti activate vtec. I am still obd-0

 

chip your stock computer with turboedit and add vtec. or get a ps9 ecu chipped for 1 wire vtec.

 

I dont think anyone in my area chips ecus and my car is an dd

Get one off ebay then.

Price isn't too bad, don't blow your money on a vafc, you can have your electronics done for the price of that and not be a half *** job.

a VAFC is a band-aid at best, stay away from them

Vafc Is jerry rigged VTEC that will not even benefit you. All it will do is force vtec to activate. It WILL NOT Adjust your timing or fuel mapping like the Proper ECU will.
