Default d16a1 pistons in d16a6 block will it work?

i heard that u can put the 1st gen d16a1 pistons in the a6 block to make the comp... higher is that true?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they bolt right in, correct?

The stock wrist pins are press in, though, so you might need to get a machine shop to assemble them for you.

nop, but You have to be carefull with the lift of aftermarket cams for the z6 head

Not too high, just higher than stock which makes it burn better, but it will also burn hotter raising NOx emissions but dropping HC emissions. I don't think it will make a big difference. 11.3:1 compared to 9.1:1 but you do pretty much need to run 91 octane gas.
