hid in ek headlights

Default hid in ek headlights

my friend wants to get hids in his 99 coupe but he does not know which ones to order. the sylvania site says 9003 but i cant find any i think its either h3 or h4. some one please help.

It's H4. 9003 is the US equivalent to the rest of the world's H4.

Also note that rebased PnP HIDs are garbage. They creat hotspots and very odd beam patterns with no discernible cutoff because you're overpowering the halogen reflector optics.

Technically HID's in any housing that doesn't have an auto adjusting housing is illegal.

Retr-fit's are still technically illegal, however they don't blind people or cause any real problems when done correctly.

I was gonna say that - those are recessed to far back... but retro FTW
