Alright i was driving at a high RMP last night and all of a sudden my car bogged for like a second and then i down shifted for a light and when i started to go again i didnt have vtec!?! the motor is a b16b and i have checked the solenoid clips and anyting else i could think of on the spot in a dark parking lot. Could some one please let me know what the other possibilities could be? My VSS mounting bracket cracked and i JB welded it back together and it sits fine and snug, would this cause an issue? It has been working ever since i fixed it and even when it was cracked. some one please let me know

cel? Oil level?

 

well i have a cel for my nock sensor but it has been running fine for the past month without it working. i will go and check my oil level but i doubt its low.

Reset the ecu and try it.

 

vtec only work when there is no cel, so fix the knock the right way and it should work fine. ppl have to realize if you micky mouse something up, it will get to u the other way, so do it right.

 

turns out my tps sensor was unplugged!
