HF weber carb swap ECU
I'm looking at all my wiring diagrams for my CRX and noticing that the Emissions Control Unit (not engine control unit) is wired into pretty much everything. I have pulled out all the shitty vacuum routing and control boxes because I'm swapping in a weber carburetor. Without the vacuum routing is there any way that I could eliminate the need for the ecu? Has anybody here done this? I know that the fan relay is routed into the ECU and a couple of other things but I think that I could just switch the fan on manually with a relay once the engine reaches operating temp.
If anybody here has ever done the 1.5 carb swap and has any tips I would love to hear them.
