CRX SI downpipe
I have an 86 CRX hf with a carburated D15. Since this is going to be a for-fun-only car I didn't want to go through the trouble of getting the PGM-FI setup and instead opted towards the weber carb swap made easier by JAM engineering. A friend of mine was nice enough to provide me with a CRX SI cylinder head and a set of SI headers which bolted right on, the only problem I have run into is the downpipe. The bolts are set at a triangle pattern on the stock setup so I thought that I wouldn't run into too many problems but when I put the unit together today I found that the bolts on the headers were slightly more spaced out and didn't reach all the way down to the exhaust tubes.
Does anybody here know if the downpipe from an SI would fit onto it? I'm trading the stock HF exhaust to a kid who wants to use it for a turbo setup and he'll be giving me his stock civic headers which should also bolt on with no problem, so I'm looking for the downpipe which will make the smallest amount of grief for me. Any suggestions?
