Default fuel filter location

i just recently figured out from another post i made that it might be i have to replace my fuel filter because i'm getting 115 miles on 3/4 of a tank on a 98 civic ex stock engine. i searched but i wasn't able to find the location of where the fuel filter. the manual doesn't tell me where it is. i'm not sure but there is something that is kinda shaped like the oil filter below near where you pull out the drain bolt and that thing is all rusted. can anyone confirm the location of the fuel filter? thanks
