Default quick release questions

so my car almost got stolen friday from my school parking lot.i am going to get a quick release and lock now. i just dont know much about them. do i need a short hub and quick relase or is the quick release a short hub in itself? weaksauce has a honda special for 290 with the nrg 2.5 quick relase, short hub, and lock. is it worth it? so i need all of that? plus i got to get a steering wheel. any quick relase steering wheel fit?
thanks ahead of time i appreciate it.
btw the car is a 99-00 civic, but the category it would be under is 96-00.

The quick release is just that, a quick release. You still need the hub that it bolts onto.

WeakSauce has the best pricing I could find. I purchased the hub and quick release from there, I bought the wheel some where else.

As long as you buy the wheel, thats ment for a Honda or Acura it will work. I think its really hard to get a wheel that won't work. Just don't buy one thats ment for like a mustang, even though that still might work.

any universal steering wheel will work, the only thing you need that's vehicle specific is the hub, and you don't need a short hub, just a hub that's made for your car, and the quick release is also universal...and the price is low by opinion, i got my hub, quick release, ans 5zigen steering wheel all on ebay for $110 shipped

How's about getting a good alarm and 2-3 kill switches and keeping the safety of your airbag.
