The Greddy Power Extreme II Turbo 70mm exhaust (Race Only) not CARB approved has just hit our shores on May 29.

I had the prototype on my car and I discussed this with Artubo. This exhaust has the following features.

-70 mm all the way through
-Large resonator to control noise
-Noise reduction insert into muffler (with minimal power Loss)...more on this in a future post
-projects at an angle to optimize exhaust flow and eliminate obstruction
-bolts to stock cat of a GSR (94-2001).That is right, it is a bolt on!!!!

we have them here in australia and they are a nice exhaust system!....with a turbo system like that especially the piping your gonna loose a lot of back pressure for a DC2R due to the pipinng diamter but nonetheless a beautiful exhaust!...for a highly tuned or turbo DC2 it would be perfect!

It looks like it has a bottle neck right after the cat flange.

 

so it's still not full stainless piping?

i had a greddy SP, and the welds on my resonator rusted off, and my piping literally broke into 2 pieces becuz of this

 

haha, mine too. my trust muffler crapped out on me after a year. after that happened, i lost faith in greddy.

 

I loved my Tanabe G-Power. That was the best exhaust I ever had. This GReddy looks pretty bad-*** too.

 

Great Exhaust! But u can not go wrong with Apex-i N1 for the HP gains and angled looked!

 

Looks like you're gonna have to chop $600 of exhaust because it bottlenecks at the connection to the cat. No way around that though I suppose, 70mm doesn't hook up to a 2" flange real easy does it?
