help pulling the motor

Default help pulling the motor

hey guys im pulling the motor out of my civic and i need to know how many bolts are holding the tranny into the motor.its the d15b7 motor and 5 speed trany.

6 17mm heads with 1 starter bolt. Pull motor and trans together though, its alot easier.

If youre pulling it all, do not separate the tranny from the engine...just drop the entire assembly as one piece by undoing the mounts

i really dont wanna pull the tranny if i dont have to cause then i have to pull the axles and i dont want to do all that if i dont have to.

trust me, i cant count how many swaps i have done, just leave it together.

it will be more work splitting it than it would to undo 3 bolts split the ball joint and pulling the shafts out

agreed plus you have to mess with trying to seperate it from the trans and im sure it will be a total pain in the ***.

dude, i experienced watching my friends do swap my whole life! and they did a swap where they dropped a LS motor in the bay w/out the tranny and it took them the whole day to finish it, because it was a pain in a *** for them! Do IT IN One WHOLE PEICE!
