Default Changing the tran on F23

I have a 2000 accord auto...dont really like the auto tran due the the problems and the fact that autos are much slower...

Im thinking of doing a manual swap...but I was wondering what kind of tran i can put on the f23

also where should i look for the tran?

Thanks

F23 engine can bolt on any F22, F23, H22 or H23 trans.

Search around a little and you'll find a lot of info. I did this swap 5 months ago and it was well worth it.

Yes, if you want better acceleration. No, if you want better gas milage.

I just finished my auto to manual swap. There is a thread near the top of this page, you will see it. It is well worth it....so much faster than the auto. You can get the tranny from an H22, H23, F22, and F23. The H22 gears are shorter, and for highway driving it will rev higher as opposed to the F23 tranny. I just did a direct swap with the F23 tranny and it hauls ***.
