Hey guys i have a 95 Integra gsr tranmission that needs to be rebuilt. What is a good company that sells these kits, where can i get them, and how much do these rebuild kits usually cost? TIA
There is no transmission rebuild kit.
You will need to inspect the parts. Synchro sleeves, bearings, and the clutch teeth on each gear for wear. Unfortunately, you are going to end up spending a fortune on replacement OEM parts.
Gearspeed sells carbon layered replacement synchros.
Don't forget new seals and check the thrust clearances on the input/output shaft per Helms spec.

I have to evaluate everything on a case-by-case basis because most people don't have $1000 to $1500 to replace every single bearing, seal, synchro set, and other misc parts.
I've had one guy spend over $1000 just on parts to replace two shift forks, all three synchro sets, all but one of the bearings, one seal, and convert it to a LS 5th gear.
All of the other rebuilds/LSdinstalls have been between $125 to $500 (aftermarket parts not included).
