Default Adapter to add stock oil cooler to '96 and up gsr's

I'm really wanting to add an oem oil cooler/heater to my 98 because the trip to work isn't enough to get the oil temp over 100 degrees on cold days. This accumulates water in the oil.

I thought it would be as simple as adding a 94-95 cooler to the 98, but the threaded hole in the block is much smaller on the 98 than the 94-95, thus the stock adapter/bolt will not transfer. Is anyone currently making an adapter to make this conversion possible?

Thanks, but something's missing in that. I had a 94 block and my 98 block side by side as I was attempting this straight conversion, but the stud that goes through the cooler has two different sized threads. The oil hole in the block is bigger on the 94 than the 98. I had some pictures and exact measurements, but unfortunately, I trashed them.

Are there two types of studs possibly?

The gsr oil cooler studs do in fact have two different part numbers. They are the following:

92-94 gsr part # 15570-PR3-003

95-01 gsr/itr part # 15560-PT6-003

Would anyone be kind enough to compare dimensions on these two part numbers, I would really appreciate it. I would like to get to the bottom of this.

I'll be don't this soon as well. Don't have the blocks side by side but the nipple that threads in the block is the same part number for a 94 GSR and 01 ITR (same block as GSR)?!??!

11108-PR3-010, JOINT, OIL COOLER

Not according to Delray... The 95 and up gsr/itr share the same part #

Sorry, didn't realize you were taking about the actual cooler bolt, I was taking about the water nipple in the back of the block.

#1, the water nipple. http://www.acuraoemparts.com/d...ch=no

I just measured mine and it's 0.860" = 22mm.

I'll post photos later.
