Isn't that what forums for? What did you want me to say? OMG I just got my pair from eBay last night and install them, they are mad tite. I love the ultra blue color it puts out. It also adds 10 WHP! I have no experience with eBay HIDs but I have had personal experience with other eBay item. Funny but it's like people say the dealership is too expensive so they won't buy from them and say eBay is too cheap also don't want to buy from them. But you know the boring saying... "you get what you pay for" and "do it right or do it twice" To sum it up... reseach is your best friend. Or should I say "search".

you can also buy Ferrari's on eBay...... it's not eBay that makes the HID's. however, to answer your question, the cheaper companies making HID's are a waste of money considering they burn out much faster than other's. if you want a cheaper quick fix, than sure, if not, retrofit.

I have some from ebay. they work great. had them for about 5 month with no problems. just be sure to get some well known brand and the shouldn't give u problems. or just get them off here about the same price

If you want a cheap fix, do a 9005 conversion, I just did it, and it helped quite a bit, surprisingly.
If I were to do HID's, which i may do one day, I would do a retrofit. It's really the only way tohave them looking and performing like they should.

umm....your friend is a dumbass if he thinks he got HID's for 12 bucks. those are probably halogen coloured bulbs.

even the cheapest crappy HID kit on ebay is at least 80-100 bucks.
