i went for a short ride this afternoon and while on the road i passed a large group of riders. i did the usual wave but one of them comes out of a corner and when i wave at him he starts patting the top of his helmet and pointing back with his thumb. i thought maybe there were low branches around the corner, no. or maybe he was motioning sirens on top of a car and to watch out for speed traps ahead, no police. does anyone know what he could have meant by this gesture?

 

Slow down, there's a cop down the road.
