I think it was better when it was black.... red is just plain..... not very creative (i'm not hating!!!).. but it looks well done!

It was a toss up, I really liked how the black gloss looked, and could not decide if I should redo it in glossy black. The pic where it is glossy, is the wrinkle paint and I was really thinking it was going to wrinkle anyway, so I would of had to redo it all. Also its not that orangish in person, its all going into this car which I thought white and red would look nice

You should of put it in the oven. Comes out alot better that way. Not very impressive imo. Looks rushed

I don't have an oven not used for food, I don't think it looks rushed. Could be the glare in the pics being picked up. Looks a lot better then before and in person, and I did not feel like spending money on the cover, since all the money is going to the rebuild of the car.

I put mine in the oven. Didn't affect my food quality, just let it air out for a while. Tried a VC a while back letting it air dry and it came out looking like ****. Oven is the way to go.

I did not feel like pissing off the people in the house, it was some what rushed but I'm happy with the overall out come. I had a few powder coaters in mind, even thought about buying a real red cover but felt like spending my money on power. Like I said, my build is costing a lot of money.

Took some new pics, with out the glare, well some glare. In the first pic see the part on the right side, thats how the cover looks all over, its not that orange smooth color.

Here is a dark shot, but it shows off the overal color an texture

Thanks, not trying to do anything crazy, just focusing on the main project at hand. Would gloss be average ? Just curious.
