Default Chassis Fab Guys..........

........what does your Jig Table look like? Im going to be building one for normal length cars (IE won't be for dragsters) and i want to make sure i get it right the first time.

The first jig table i worked on was made out of 2x4 mild steel square tubing with a 2x1/2in plate on top with 3/8x16 holes tapped for fixtures.

The 2nd one was made out of some thick 2x2square tubing with 18x24x1/2in plate with 3/8x16 holes tapped for fixtures.

/\Picture from joe barszcz race craft website (previous employer)

I liked both but im wanting to hear what everyone else has.

Thanks,

Grant

Forget the lightwieght steel tubing, build it out of 10-15lb per/ft steel Ibeam. Much stronger. That's what I built mine out of. Put plenty of cross members in and you will be fine.
