I do not own a bike, but I've really been looking into purchasing one... I don't want an R1 or 'busa, don't need to run 200mph down the highway.

I just really have been dreaming about road trips. I have no biker - friends currently, and most of the people around here seem more interested in racing on streets than going places anyway.

But anyway- I love reading stories of cross-country or multi-state road trips. Does anyone have any to share, or know where I can find a good collection of them?

 

The only road trip I have taken was a few years back when I took my Ninja 600 on a ~1K mile round trip from Idaho to SW Oregon and back. Dumbest thing I have ever done in my life. It would have been much more fun on something more like a VFR or any type of cruiser but on a sprtbike it was HELL.
