Default first honda project

hey guys my name is domenic i just picked up a 93 civic.it has the d15b7 engine in it.im not looking to buy a new motor i was just wondering if there is any where i can get a complete rebuild kit for the motor.the cheapest one i found was 269.and that was pistons the rings all gaskets and bearings.that was at http://www.importperformanceparts.net . no one else has the rebuild kit for that car.thanks for the help guys

You could do that if you're confident with your mechanic skills


or swap in a y8 and turbo it.

the motor smokes so could be a poss blown rings and vavle seats and the motor has over 130k miles on it and i always like to look for more horse power.i rebuild motors all the time.never did a tuner motor.

d15 is the easiest one to do, great to start, however if you are looking to more power i would probably swap in a d16z6 to remain in that same price range.

Only way of getting power from a d-series.
