Ok... So when I bought my car, the previous owner installed satellite radio in my car... well whoever did it broke alot of things and the plastic bracket that the climate control screws into... so to fix that im going to drill out the remaining pieces of the plastic bracket thats left and put a metal bracket and then screw the climate control into that since it sags down... but anyway back on topic, when they did that they also lost a clip that goes onto the rear defrost switch and it sticks out way too much... I was wondering does anyone know the part number to this clip? http://img508.imageshack.us/im...3.gif I thought I had the right part number but when I received the clip along with my other interior clips I realized that it was the wrong one

 

You're gonna have to buy the entire switch.

 

Damn... thats one thing I didnt wanna do... o well looks like ill go to a junk yard and see if I can get one...

 

I just pulled the whole climate control assembly to see how the expoxy I applied about 2 days ago set and to my surprise it didnt hold at all... has anyone ever had this problem where the plastic bracket that the climate control screws into broke? as in my 1st post im thinkin about fixing it by just cutting off the majority of the plastic bracket that remains and just making my own metal bracket and then screwing it into the remaining pieces of the plasic bracket and then screwing the climate control into the metal bracket
