Default has anyone changed the ignition switch on an 01 accord

will the key/ computer need to be reprogrammed after the switch is replaced?

if you only replaceing the electrical then no, but if it's the lock cylinder and your new lock is rekeyed to your no but if your using the new keys that came with it then yes the new keys need to be programed.

thanks for your input , that's just what I wanted to hear! I am not changing the key cylinder, just the electrical part.

Has anyone had the 6th generation Accord ignition switch recall performed and had the same issues with the replacement ignition? If so, was it also covered by Honda under the recall?
