Default I'm looking at this Integra to trade my Stang for, whatchya think?

We are still discussing it but we are both interested in the trade at this time. We haven't actually met in person yet. But the Car seems to be nice enough.
Here are the stats:

94 acura integra, black
360 whp

*b16 head (vtec)
*polished and balanced crank
*ARP head studs
*chiped ecu with chrome engine management *stage 4 comp clutch *greedy boost controller *racing seats *wisco pistons 9.7:1 *golden eagle block guard *eagle H beam rods *ALC race barons
*t3/t4 turbo 9psi now, 21 psi possible.
*custom TDF turbo manifold
*AEM fuel rail
*RC 660cc injectors
*carbon fiber hood
*teil waist gate
*3" down pipe
*shift light
*apexi turbo timer
*intercooler (not sure of the size)
*hks SS bov
*4 bar map sensor
*icw race wheels 17"
*brand new tires

that's most of everything. i might be forgetting a few things

Bads
*cracked door panel
*rpm gauge isn't working for some reason *small exhaust leak *no AC or powerstearing

Pics:

The main problem I have is that it doesn't have A/C or Power Steering. The power steering I can do with out because it's a small car BUT where in the South I have to have A/C in traffic. He said the lines are still there but the compressor is not so I am hoping I could re-install it.

Don't know what kind of gas mileage it would get with all those mods. That is the main reason why I am selling the Stang. If it doesn't get 25mpg or better then it's not worth it since my commute is 53 miles one way to work.

Tell me what you think, I am not a tuner person, I am a domestic person so I need your help to let me know if this will work for me for good mileage, a nice setup and of course value.
Thanks

Also check to see if that manifold is A/C compatable. If not you an just buy a new manifold that will make room for the A/C unit. I would say that depending on the tune and how hard you run it that it will get about 25 MPG. I had a turbo LS in a hatch and that thing got atleast 25 MPG

Oh, so the A/C Compressor mount near the manifold? I am not familiar with where it is located in the engine bay.
He said it is tuned down at 9psi. The bare minimum setting his boost controller will let him.

Here is his exact words"the car was tuned at mainstream performance, but i think it might be a little bit out of tune because when the engine was rebuilt i had it bored 10 of instead of the stock bore i had before. and the pistons are 9.7:1 now and they were 9.8:1 before. so i have only been running it at 9 pounds (which is what my low boost is set, which is very low. stock integra's run 8 psi. and this engine is capable of running around 19 psi on pump gas and somewhere around 22-23 on 50/50 race gas. and also even though the car maybe somewhat out of tune it does not smoke what so ever. i also have all the pictures of the rebuild process which i was helped by a certified honda tech."

Another question: with the boost controller inside the car and essentially you are able to play with it as you drive, if you turn the boost up, shouldn't you up the fuel pressure as well? Or does the boost controller adjust that as well?
I had a Turbo SVO but I never changed it from stock and it ran 14psi stock so I never messed with it.

Yeah that manifold is definatly not AC compatible. U can see where the compressor bolts to the head. Also if the boost controller is in the car than yes you can adjust it on the fly, but make sure you are running the right mix of fuel and that you are tuned for the higher setting of boost. Otherwise BOOM. The car overall looks pretty good though. I would do it Just get different tail lights

So basically if I wanted to run 19 psi. then I would have to richen up the mixture and then I could boost up?
What's with the tail lights? Do you not like em'?

Are you saying that the manifold doesn't have the holes for the bolts for the compressor? If that is all I can probably weld a bracket up to make it fit. But if the manifold is in the place of where the compressor would sit then I might have to think of something else.

Not necessarily, you want more fuel, not richen it. But you have to have the right amount of fueling to up the boost to any psi higher then where it is at. Have the right size injectors, fuel pump, and fpr, then you can up the boost along with a respective software for that setup.

*chiped ecu with chrome engine management
*greedy boost controller
*AEM fuel rail

*4 bar map sensor

And gotta have an upgraded fuel pump, so it doesnt lean out or run into fuel starvation, which occurs if shooting for high hp at higher rpm ranges.

Thats a nice tegy.

I think fuel mileage shouldn't be that much sacifice with those mods....I mean, u can always de-tune it and sell parts or whatever.

Need again, who wouldn't want a turbo tegy?

you never know, always good to ask, but the seller can just lie to you and say he did, just to get rid of the car, maybe it is already running lean since it doesnt have a upgraded fuel pump, but never know.

True, hopefully he's not lying. He also said he has pics of the motor during build up. That will be nice to see and have.

thats the best thing, also ask for receipts for the build up, along with the mod receipts, so you can get an idea of what he has done to the motor, even if he didn't have an upgraded FP, just buy one, there not expensive at all, and just put it on, its better safe the sorry, when you see your pistons melt due to leaning out.

No that is not the problem. Integras that have AC use 2 fans, the AC fan is removed on your car due to the size of the manifold. Look at the last picture. On the radiator you can see the fan to the left. Now look to the right and see how close the manifold is to the radiator. He had to remove the AC fan there because of clearance. You would never be able to squeeze one in there unless you had a different manifold.

you can count on that car being beat to hell by the current owner. first and foremost make sure it's healthy! do compression and leakdown tests.

one thing that bothers me about that is the valvecover has fittings for a breather setup, yet they're not hooked up to anything.

car's alright, you won't be able to install AC unless you change the manifold like everyone has been sayin. If your looking for a DD and ya don't know about honda's or turbo hondas u may want to find a stock LS or GSR b/c unless you know what your doing or how to fix it or have the Money to fix things when they break your better off with a stock one and modding it later down the road. there easy to learn just Read everything on h-t the amount of information is insane, now u can just jump in and learn later, but you may punch yourself. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by stupidwhitecat &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Yeah, also the turbo inlet has no filter </TD></TR></TABLE><TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by doood &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you can count on that car being beat to hell by the current owner. first and foremost make sure it's healthy! do compression and leakdown tests.

yeaaaaa this stuff just isn't right and needs to get fixed along with those taillights and rims, o and those racing seats just by seein the side look ebay. Also What Motor is it your said B16 head but the block Is it Ls/vtec with a B18 block or is the whole motor B16 Idk I can't see from the pictures idk if anyone can If u get a wider shot with a cam we maybe able to piont more things out.

i would sell your mustang and buy a clean integra that is not modified. you cant find problems in one test drive. i would not buy someone else's project.

i just read this:
