car dies when i turn on head light
So here's my problem if I turn I my head lights it seems to drain my battery and my car dies. So I got my alternator tested, it wasn't charging good, got a new one. Worked for a day, then the started to do it again. I just put in 1000cc injectors, does that have anything to do with it. Check all my connections and grounds. Seems to be okay. any other ideas?
Are you running some form of HID's in your headlights? If your doing a DIY retrofit, chances are soemthing isnt wired right if you claim this happens when your headlights come on.

yep you guys got it right, I have a d15 which I converted over to DPFI so I could run two 1000cc injectors witch would net me with 2000cc's. Not only that I also have an intake and an exhaust tip. It's not much but I'm getting 3 spoon engines pretty soon with 3 of everything so yeah who'll be laughing then.
Okay so anyways I got the alternator tested and it was shot so I got a new one. Got the battery tested and it was crap to so I got a new one too. So now it starts good but if I run it for a while and it gets hot and then I shut it off, it won't start back up. It'll turn over and want to start but won't kick over. what's up with that. I get spark but no fuel it seems. I can hear it prime but the spark plugs are dry when I pull them. At that point if I jump start it, it will turn over. I'm using those cheap radio shack resistors as opposed to a resistor box. You guys think that could be it?
So you guys don't have a friggin fit, I am boosted, I recently bought one of those uhm what you ma call its, a electric fan you put on your intake and a boost controller so I can control my boost. I up'd my boost but my boost gauge doesn't go anywhere, it shows vacuum but no boost, maybe the guage is broken??? haha

Good luck with the 3 spoon engines ive only herd of that being done one other time never got to see the outcome tho. lol

okay some one just told me it could be my main relay. Anyone has a extra laying around that works I could buy. I'll give that a try and see if it solves it. Is there anyway to test the main relay?

why 3 engines, because I'm gonna set it up to have one in front, one mid engined, and the other in the rear duh? So I'll be FF, MR, and RR. That's tizzaight
But anyways I'm gonna take my main relay out and get it resoldered. A article said that overtime the solder goes bad or something. What is weird is that my fuel pump still primes but it doesn't spray because my spark plugs look dry when I pull them. It will start if I jump start it though. May be I'm not getting enough current to my injectors when they're too hot. It must be my stupid clay covered radio shack resistors? I guess I'll check the voltage to the injector clips. Anyone know what they should read?
