Or you can give them your DL and rent them for free.

When I swapped my stock springs on my 92 RS for some Neuspeed Sport springs, I just wrapped the spring in a large towel and reached in and slowly released the top nut. On my car, the tension wasn't that bad and it was kinda fun to do it this way. I am more scared to pop open them cans of biscuits for breakfast than to release these springs. The aftermarket springs were shorter, so I just pushed them down with my weight to spin the nut back on.

My brother and I duel at 10 paces with loaded springs.

i was also thinking about getting 2 different springs for the front, as my car suffers from the back being lower than the front riding on eibach sport lines. so i was also wondering how hard it would be to install them yourself

i'd just get a whole new set.

Most lowering springs are designed to have the front lower than the rear.
