Default headlight questions. please help.

i have a civic si yr 2000 and have had those replacement headlight bulb so they can be brighter. last night my sister was driving the car when she noticed the headlights flickering but not turning off. i drove the car soon after and sure enough it did it again. seemed like the power would cut off from the headlights and would come back on. i did a search already but coldnt find a topic similar to this. please help.

Sounds like your bulbs might be going out, a wire could be loose, or a ground might be disconnected.

Check all though.

Make sure the bulb is turned all the way in the socket.

My last car did this and it turned out that my wiring fried. Not saying that this may be your case but check your wiring may have a loose connection, ground, etc.

how many watts are the bulbs??

if you run 110w bulbs (guessing), and the stock bulbs are 55w, you've most likely burnt out the wiring, as its not designed for such high wattage
