Well, today I went to the dealership to schedule myself a oil change, and I was talking to the guy about prices on their parts available for my car. I said I could of gotten most of these parts at cheaper price online from collegehillhonda and stuff, that if I can still get it installed here with warranty. This is when he went "well, you can talk to the parts department, and they can usually match their price if it's legit." So went to the parts guy and ask about the price of mudguard, he says $98 off their listing. I told him about what the front desk told me and he said "ok let me see how low I can go"

Well, I got them for $71 from the dealership, it's 8 bucks more than collegehillhonda, but I didn't have to pay for shipping.

Am I just finding this out or what? I paid full price on the all season mats and stuff earlier, I hate myself now lol could of saved like 50 bucks on those too.

 

It depends on the dealership, but a lot of parts departments will offer competitive pricing provided the other source is a legit resaler. I wouldnt say its anything new but a lot of people never think to try/ask.

 

Not all dealerships are the same though, you lucked out, i know we wont do that

Word, I offered cost +10% when I was selling on here + ebay but I would never offer discounted prices like that to a typical walk-in customer...
