Why wouldn't you get an ITR head?

No one will know the answer to this question. If the motor was put together right and the proper installation was done....it will run great. But if the motor or the install sucks as much as your spelling then its going to fall out of your car and blow up. HAHA

Oh ****. I didn't see that. SORRY. What I was saying is there are way too many variables to answer your question.

The tipe r block is the same as the gsr block minus rods and pistons.

The gsr ecu will run the engine pretty decent. You will have higher compression with the gsr head than the type r/b16 head.

Its all in the tuning. Get yourself a chipped p28/P72 and crome or crome pro.

Or better yet let someone else tune it for you.

It could run better or worse on a stock ecu.

thanks bro..

i bought the motor with the gsr head,i don't know why he put this head, but i got it for a got price you know?

me and a buddy just started the motor last week for the first time .

it ran fine,no taching noise..

but the gsr manifold did not realy work with my harness . it sound it like it was not on timming

so he told me to get a s2 or blox manifold.

because it single staged type and it'll eliminate some of the sensors...

i don't realy know man.what u think?

thanks..
