I am in a desperate need of a Type R shell with a clean title. Right now I have all Type R parts to make it JDM and I need a shell to convert it to a RHD. If any of you can help me, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Geezuz H. Krisse Just sell your parts and buy a real JDM R.

 

Get any Integra shell. I don't think you'll be needing the stiffer chassis.

What makes you think he is going to cut the car in half and not just do a firewall swap?

If he was building a track car, I doubt he would worry about JDM and RHD.

Im sure as hell not hating. Its his deal he simply asked the Type R forum if anyone knew of any shells for sale, not to criticize what he wants to do thats all. Im not on your back so no need to get all E-Krazy.

Have you seen some of the firewall swaps? I mean up close, not some pics of them 10 feet away, that don't show ****. Alot of people don't know what they are doing when they do it, I have seen some that look like the firewall was held on with wood glue and caulk. An ITR does not need to be treated that way. Go get an RS and do it to that. Or if you have to have a RHD ITR get the real thing, They aren't overpriced, they are actually priced the same as a USDM ITR. I should know, I own both versions.

I'm sure if anyone in here that actually likes, enjoys and drives an ITR will not be willing to sell him their shell. So he can destroy a perfectly rebuildable ITR.

I know exactly what u mean, but the ones i have seen done are super clean and look like they were never tampered with. Some jdm itrs are overpriced not saying ALL. But ive seen some for a ridiculous price and not registered. All im saying is that even if he sales all his jdm parts, he would not have enough to buy a complete jdm itr without coughing up alot of money.

Im sure some up tight **** people wont, but if they get their money and the car no longer belongs to them what can they do or say. Im sure not all people see an ITR as gods gift to the honda scene like some people do.

Your right, not everyone does. But most of the people in this forum love their ITR's. Just look at the sympathy the one guy got when his mom's ITR was stolen (may it R.I.P.)

Thanks for all your responses. I have a 94 integra shell but I want a real itr. I have been wanting to have an itr for the longest time and since I have free time now, I want to put my time in something. I was retired by the Navy this month due to an injury in Afghanistan so I just want to enjoy my freedom and to get my mind off of things.

Full shell with 5lug....just no motor/trans/ecu/axles/etc.
