Alright guys... iv been helping a friend out working on his 90 CRX.. now the motor and all the harness's are perfect, this was previously running in a different crx shell, in tell the strut tower housing cracked... so we pulled it all out and put it into another shell.... he has both 89 engine and body harness's with a 91 gauge cluster... when i turn key i can hear the fuel pump trying to prime... but nothing else comes on... radio clock etc... dome light works.. head lights and tail lights work.. now i gave up on it a few days back.. and tried again last night.. and the fuse box under neath the dash started clicking when i turn on the head lights or try to put on the turn signals.. the head lights and tail lights work.. but nothing else.... i have replaced most of the relays, and check all the fuses and they look fine.... now he wired up the wireing harness.. is there any way possible he could have plugged it into a wrong part of the harness, and that would be why nothing electrical is working correctly???

ok well we were going to continue getting the motor fully hooked up, and we took off the tranny ground.. and now we have a left turn signal solid on, check engine light, and oil light.. no cluster lights or radio help!!!

 

anyone know why the tranny would get power on the tranny ground??
