Default 2006 CRV Maintenance

How do I reset the "Maint. Req'd" alert so it goes off? Thanks (2006 CRV)

With the the key in the ignition but the ignition off press the reset button, now while holding the reset button turn your key to ignition (do not start the car) and continue to hold reset until the light turns off.

Thanks for the prompt reply re: shutting off the "Maint Req'd" light. But can you please tell me where the reset button is?

it's the trip/ reset button on the right side of the instrument custer

Thanks again. I did try it as you said the first time but didn't hold the reset button in quite long enough. This time I did and it worked fine.
