Default should i paint my lip

hey guys i just purchased a abs type r lip...it is the same color as my car..i was wondering if i should paint it ot leave the way it is or just put a layer of cleacoat for a nice shine?....thanks...what have you guys done?

Best way to make ABS plastic shine is to run it over with a buffer, but making sure you have plenty of compound because if it dry's you'll overheat the plastic and it will change color.

Mine is magnesium metallic, I have the same lip that I will be putting on as soon as I get ahold of suspension. It universally goes with any color, not to mention it's probably gonna be taking a beating if you're lowered...I much rather have something unpainted and durable down there.

So my $0.02, leave it unpainted.

yeah just leave it... Preferably I like the lip matching but with abs you have to be careful because those easily can crack.
