Default Cheep single stage paint.............

I did a little paint work for a guy out here in FL

Here are some pics

That is what a single stage looks like, not even wet sanded yet. This only cost me $38.00 for the pint. I charged the guy $125.00.

I'm a DBC fan. I don't spray anything else.

Question for the original poster. Why would you wetsand a METALLIC single stage. Wouldn't that affect it? Just curious, saw someone wetsand a single stage gunmetal at a shop and it came out jacked.

Looks nice though.

I had to wet sand it, there was so much orange peal. It still came out really good even after the wet sand.

Now I am still trying to figure out why I had so much orange peal, but o-well, the guy was happy with it.

I am a big fan of the PPG stuff to, but for the job OMNI is so much cheaper. Now if I was doing my car the PPG is the way. People just don't want to pay much for getting things painted and I have to cut somewhere.

Omni is some cheap paint, and chips easy. I had the interior of my hatch painted with it, and it chips off so easily.

Then you had bad prep work. I have never had it chip on me.

I painted my wheels and my intercooler with it.

Yeap, I've had several sets of wheels painted with Omni and it holds up very well.

You can get it in any color you want, go to a local paint store.
