okay ive been lookn for some black with red anodized lip wheels for a while and there really isnt much out there .....

anywayz...ive been wondering, if i get some rims with a polished lip, and sand down the lip...can i go over it with a clear coat (w/ red) in it and get the same affect or something close enough.....or will this not work?? eh i dont know much bout paint n stuff, so0 sorry for being such a n00b haha

 

i tried that and it didnt work for me... instead of red it came out pink...

 

anything is possible but then again, i would not advise this type of paint scheme for a beginning painter. i am pretty sure a pro can help u on this.

i tried a blue lip on some old sa3rs and i wasnt too happy.

 

yeah i wasnt planing on doing it my self, but eh, since i dont think it can be done anymoar, then i guess ill just get like a metallic red type of color painted on......
