Default Cargo cover doesn't hide anything - what gives?

I just got the cargo cover for my Fit, and it's basically useless. I thought it would keep people from seeing whether I had anything in the back, which is pretty important, since I park in Manhattan a couple of times a week. No luck. The cover only covers about 80% of what it should, and anything stashed in the back is clearly visible through the side window.

Unlike what the picture at honda.com shows (http://automobiles.honda.com/images/...007011_mid.jpg), the cover doesn't fit all the way against the back seat. I wish I'd paid more attention to this installation video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjyW7te2Ci0. Between 00:20 and 00:33 seconds into the video, you can clearly see how big a gap there is between the cover and the back seat. The video starts with the stock photo of the cover, too, which shows a completely different fit.

I like the Fit, but the lack of a proper cargo cover is a big failing.

You do realize that the back seat can fold backwards a bit after it's been locked into position?

I found that out after I posted, but even with the seat reclined, there's still a gap, and you can easily see what's in the back through the side window.

Pull on the lever on top of the rear seat and push the seat back. It reclines like 2 inches.

wow i didn't know someone would complain about this lol. Just recline the backseats like other members said and u shouldn't have that 2 inch gap showing. Once u do, ur gonna have LESS THEN AN INCH of gap between the reclined back seat and the cargo cover. If ur still paranoid, push ur stuff up against the back of the trunk space so u can't see anything. NOne the less, it does its purpose perfectly.
