Do parking lights and headlights get power at the same time?

I want to hook up some gauges and I want to tap into my parking light wires, but I want to make sure that they will stay lit with the lowbeams and highbeams as well.

Just tap into a 12v constant.
"Oh look, a cigarrette lighter."
EDIT: nvmd, you want them to come on at night. Then just tap into your parking lights. Or you could set them to a switch inside the car.

That was fast. Thanks guys.
The problem is that I dont have the engine or a battery in the car, so I am wiring this stuff up blind basically.
Ok, and what about 12v accessories? How does that work, when something is wired to the ACC and it gets power when the key is turned halfway right? So do they get power when the engine is running as well?
Obviously constant is constant and it will forever put a drain on the battery right? Or does that mean you can turn it on or off no matter if the car is running or not, but it will only drain the battery if its on?

If you wire it to your constant in the radio or the ciggarrette lighter, when you turn your car to acc it will get power.
I'd say wire it you your parking lights.
They are the outer most bulb on your headlight housing.

Yeah I know, but I just figured out how to solder really well and I have become solder crazy recently.
Thanks for that diagram btw, I have been looking for that forever, I cant find my helms for the civic so I have been searching around for one.
However, I did have a question about that picture. Next to the first 12v constant is a spot where you can plug in 4 spade connectors (male). What are those for? It is not listed on any diagrams I have seen so far.

I see it says for power window relay but what type of power does it give off when something is plugged in there? For some reason my radio connects there from one of the wires on the harness. I did this several years ago and have just recently gotten back in the car (it was here while I was stationed in Germany for four years) and I forgot why I did it.

If you want it, there's a printable version (in case you lost the one in your car).
