My Infiniti M45 Review on Youtube
Some of you may know that I work for Roadfly, writing car reviews and writing/narrating video scripts.
Well, my boss came to his senses and realized that a Top Gear-style video would be much more interesting than a Motorweek-style video (disembodied voice over video of car going 10mph).
I got into work two weeks ago and was told "Get ready, you're going on camera with the M45." So I put on my best Jeremy Clarkson hat and went to work.
I didn't even have time to write a general script...we just ad-libbed the whole thing. So a lot of it is gonna sound kinda dumb. Future videos (just wrapped up Toyota Highlander and Subaru Forester) will be better.
Tell me what you think - and be honest. No one will lose user % for saying I suck
The people who inhabit car forums are our target audience, so anything you say (excluding "CRX" and "IDB") will be helpful.
Add RoadflyTV to your YouTube subscriptions! The more views we get, the easier it will be to start marketing our videos...and if we market them successfully, I can actually make a decent living!
Leave comments...add to favorites...pump up our views. Our channel is almost at 1 million views, probably thanks to you guys.

good vid just try not to say "Ummm" so much. Im sure a lot of that will go away if you script it. Just make sure you are consciouse of what you are saying.
Also I would try and go over one part of the car at a time. Jumping around made it a little weird.
Oh and do more reviews while driving. IE- show that the brakes work good (maybe shots of high speed braking from out side the car)
over all good job , just need to be refined

He didnt say "Uhmmm" too much but it sounded horrible when he did. Overall I thought it wasnt tooo bad. Just needed to sound a bit more enthusiastic. The presentation would have catered a crowd that was almost about ...."uhhhhmmm"....to fall asleep.
Not bad....Try not to use so much vernacular language.
"ton" of power
"ton" of leg room
"ton" of headroom
"awesome" sounds
You might also want to drive with two hands on the wheel--- hanging your limp left wrist over the top of the steering wheel screams "amateur driver" to me. All you have to add is a gangsta lean to the seat and turn a baseball cap to the side and you resemble .... well you know....
Not bad though....

yeah I'm working on diversifying the language.

also - non-collared shirts don't look so hot on tv. they make you look bottom heavy
I realize you are wearing a road-fly t-shirt - but you won't find many people on tv that host shows that wear t-shirts - unless you are trying to emulate this guy....

Very interesting, and you're right. My roadfly-branded polo shirt is in the mail already.

not bad man, other than explaining the rev match feature and awkward hand through the back seat hole hahah great for a basically improv approach
When talking about trunk space, thought for sure you were going to mention bodies.
I'm sure it's much harder then it looks. Edit out the um and get a wireless mic and you're golden!

That was actually very impressive Ross..... i wouldn't say it was perfect, but very very well done! The only thing that comes to mind immediately that you stumbled over a bit was the "rev-matching" part.

haha, I did too. Whats with the vignetting on the lens of the camera? That and the lack of focus on alot of parts was very very annoying
