Default HELP A GIRL OUT! pretty please?:)

I need to find out what I need to do to swap out the regular manual climate contorl to the amber JDM auto climate control - do I need a whole new motor unit? Where do the wires then go? If you have any ideas before I rip it apart let me know please and thankyou!

p.s. myspace.com/hondahannah - thats the car

THANKYOU!

Did you already purchase the JDM control? If you havent you can just take the USDM control out and replace the bulbs.

Unelss you've got the complete HVAC unit, about your only option is to remove the face from your USDM cluster, swap in the amber bulbs and swap out the temperature plaque. This will look identical to the JDM unit and still retain all your functionality.

I'm not even 100% sure the EG stuff is able to be fit onto the US cars. I imagine alot of the heater passages are backwards.

Either way, if you go for this project, let me know if you have questions. i've got an EG6 and can look under the dash if you need help.

everyone justs swaps out the face plate. I figure, why go through the trouble. Just buy a RHD EG. Its much cheaper in the end if you plan on going through with the JDM nut thing.

i personally have one in my eg and i too love the way it looks (replacing the bulbs just didnt do anything for my jdm fetish). you just have to take the face off of the us one and swap the jdm face onto it.

downside is that you're stuck with a real jdm unit with an u.s. face on it that you wont sell, but it looks good.

here you go, watch this good info.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d29rJzQqGYM

good luck. and dont bother trying to make the jdm work...its expensive

Hey she said "expletive me"... I just want to know if she is worthy.

If you want to post pics post them in the appearance and cosmetic forum.

You'll need some kind of image hosting. I use photobucket because it's free and fast.

But for a few $$$ you can get iserve which has crappy servers but is conveniently located above the reply field.
